Though the 4th of July will look a little different this year without our beloved Lahaina celebrations and fireworks, there’s still lots of fun to be had here on Maui this week. See below for ideas!

33rd ANNUAL KῙ HŌ‘ALU GUITAR FESTIVAL
3:00pm – 7:00pm, doors open 2:30pm at the MACC (Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Kahului)

Thursday, July 4
The Grand Wailea (Wailea) will conclude their day of special events for their guests with a beachfront fireworks display.
Whaler’s Village (Ka’anapali) will host a “4th of July Fest” from 11:00am – 2:00pm. Lawn games, hot dogs, keiki activities, live music and more. For the rest of July, Whaler’s Village will also be hosting their month-long “Summer Vibes Block Party” with daily fun and activities.

The Westin Maui Resort & Spa (Ka’anapali) will be hosting multiple day of events including a BBQ from 11am to 2pm and their annual “flower drop” at noon. 50,000 fresh orchids will be dropped from a helicopter, showering resort guests below on the pool deck.
Friday, July 5

Saturday, July 6
Kealia Pond (N. Kihei) First Saturday guided “Walk-and-Talk” with wildlife refuge staff. Free, family friendly event. Milepost 6 Maui Veterans Hwy, Kihei, HI 96753
Maui Ocean Center (Ma’alaea) will be hosting its annual Coral Spawning night from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Tickets and more info below:
