Long-time favorite restaurant, Star Noodle has reopened in the previous Frida’s space at 1287 Front Street in Lahaina.  This is next door to where they were most recently.  Aloha Mixed Plate has instead returned to their original space before closing a few years ago.  The Star Noodle space has recently been renovated but the gorgeous ocean views have remained.  Maui Locals Guide Tip – though it looks appealing, patio dining before sunset can get a bit toasty in the sun.  Also, keep an eye out for turtles often spotted on the shore or nearby in the water.

Personal favorites this visit were the Adobo Ribs and Pork Shumai, in addition to must-have staples Ahi Avo and Garlic Noodles.  While they wait for their liquor license, they are BYOB.  Always a full-house, reservations are recommended and likely required well in advance.
